About Me
I'm Abigail. I am very excited as this is a start of a brand new chapter of my life.
I welcomed my son into the world in August 2019 and decided before then that I wouldn't return to my teaching career. Instead I would set up a childminding business so that I wouldn't miss his milestones.
I am working with my mum who has been a childminder in Sprotbrough for over 20 years.
Together, we are undertaking a Wanderlust Child Nature Study programme and our aim is to provide an excellent, educational experience for all children who attend our setting.
My Experience
I have been a primary school teacher for 7 years. I've decided that as my fiance and I are starting our own family, I want a change of setting but I still want to deliver quality, home from home care and to ensure each child is learning and developing at the age appropriate rates.
My Qualifications
I have a PGCE in Education.
Paediatric first aid
Working towards Level 3 Safeguarding
I constantly look for new and exciting CPD courses to develop my skills.
My Availability
My working hours are 7.30am until 5.30pm, if needed until 6pm that's fine but we must discuss and write it into your contract.
I know what traffic can be like as I used to work in Sheffield and often could take me an hour to get home, so I am reasonable but I have my little man to think of too. I need him to spend time with his dad before bed.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
I will discuss fees with individuals on an individual basis.
I do offer shift worker spaces, however a retainer fee will be charged.
