About Me
Hi! Im Jess. I’m a 27 year old female and looking at taking on a new career path. Originally I’m from Kent, I moved up to Cumbria in April 2018! I can confidently say it is the best move we’ve made as a family. I have 4 siblings and 4 children who call me auntie! I’ve been around children my full life, I don’t have my own children yet but it is definitely a life goal! I get married in July 2025, I own a house with my partner in Workington and we have a beautiful cockapoo, Rupert. He is my world.
My Experience
When I finished school, I left with my level 3 in childcare and education. I worked in a day nursery down in Kent before moving to Cumbria. I’ve worked in school settings, residential children homes and with adults who have learning disabilities. I love helping people, regardless of age. Making sure that people have the care, love and support for their needs is important to me. I have learned a lot over the years by working in different settings, I have done many courses on safeguarding and positive behavioural support training to name a couple. I have a passion for working with people. I love getting involved and helping people thrive and achieve.
My Qualifications
I hold my level 2 & 3 in childcare and education. I have my maths and English, equality and diversity, ict and more, these are GCSEs.
I have completed and received certificates for other training throughout my time working with adults who have learning disabilities.
I hold a Full UK driving license which I have had for 9 years now.
I also have a DBS from working in schools, this is on the update service.
My Availability
Currently I am working for an agency in a school setting. I am wanting to do nannying full time and hope that a family would find my profile and want to get to know me and allow me to become their nanny full time.

- Nannying from £13.50 per hour (gross)
I am flexible with fees for the right family. I wouldn’t accept less than the national minimum wage.
