About Me
I’ve worked in childcare for 28 years, I've worked in nurseries, as a private nanny and since 2014 as a childminder. I'm hugely passionate about providing an enriched and engaging setting. I provide a happy, safe and fun setting within my home. Little Jems is based on the ground floor and consists of a kitchen, bathroom and playroom which leads out onto a lovely enclosed safe garden. We have ample space upstairs for children that need that all important nap.
We have memberships to various places and love to go and and explore the area in which we live, we visit farms, zoos, parks, the beach, library's, museums, water parks, woods to name but a few places we like to explore. We engage with other local childminders and friends we've met along the way for those all important social skills.
I pride myself on having a good reputation and tend to find new families via word of mouth and recommendations , I have great relationships with parents which is hugely important and is the key to a child that thrives in their early years education.
I have a daughter aged 11, 2 little dogs and a pet giant African snail!

BTEC National Diploma in childhood studies. First aid trained, ongoing training in various areas.
