Hi, I'm Jadie!

I am a passionate and enthusiastic Nanny/Babysitter with a NVQ level 3 childcare (early years)!

I am a self-employed, Ofsted Registered nanny/ babysitter . With a personal enhanced DBS check.

Over the course of the last nearly four years I have proudly joined 9 families - some on a permanent basis as a nanny and some on an Adhoc basis as a babysitter. I will be happy to provide references.


Level 3 NVQ in Childcare, Level 2 Safeguarding, Level 2 Food Hygiene, Level 2 challenges in behaviour. I have a current paediatric first aid certificate, an enhanced DBS and incredible references.

With 2 years experience within a nursery working a total of 6 months in pre school (3-5 y.o.) and 1.5 years as a key worker and room leader in the Toddler room (18mth- 3 y.o.).

Alongside my nursery position up untill present I have worked closely with a lovely family of 3 (B3 and G9) on an Ad hoc Babysitting basis.

And experience as a Nanny with a young family of Four (B2 - charge position & G4W - mothers help).

2019-2022 I working within a nanny share role consisting of working with two families, primarily for two girls under the age of one as a shared care position. I also provide before and after school care and holiday care for the older boys in both families.

Currently, I work with four different families during the week. The children’s ages vary from 3months - 10 years old. I have been with two of these families for three years and two for a little over a year. I have fantastic bonds with all of the children.

I also provide proxy care for two families once a month. This consists of them leaving for a period of time 3 days - 1 week and I care for their children within their home while they are gone.

I have experience working with newborns and have basic self taught Makaton skills to communicate well with the young baby and build a deeper understanding as our relationship forms. (This translates well to other early years- I use this often with my 'Toddlers' to communicate their needs e.g. 'nappy change', 'bottle', 'food', 'finished', 'more' etc.).

I am passionate for all the age groups and love to adapt my skills and knowledge for each individual child to accompany their needs and support their development (physical, mental and social).

I love to spend my time outdoors exploring the world and try to travel as much as possible - my most recent adventure to Iceland was incredible!

I believe in a quality of education that comes from experience of the world - I encourage children to explore their environment to discover their individual interests and abilities.

I pride myself on my cleanliness and organisation abilities and enjoy cooking a variety of meals so I am happy to help around the house.

With my experience within a nursery, I have a vast knowledge of the EYFS and will be happy to implement this into my daily activities with your younger children if you wish.

During their day spent with me, I will provide resources and activities (age appropriate) avaliable for the use of your children when they are in my care. Both educational and fun! This includes sensory, sesonal and themed play.

I will always have your child's best interests in mind and make their time with me as enjoyable, imaginative, silly, messy and playful as possible!
