Professional family seeking extra support with their young adult disabled daughter
My Requirements
Due to the development of a care team a family in Shropshire is taking a flexible approach to ensuring high quality care in their home, for their 24yr old daughter who, due to a genetic disability, is cognitively that of a child.
As part of the development the family are seeking either –
Nanny/ Housekeeper
F/T – (40 – 45 hours per week) Or P/T (35 – 40 hours per week)
Can be term time only or all year round
( £17 - £18 gph)
This role requires –
· A qualified and experienced nanny
· Someone with extensive SEN experience inc supporting behaviours that may challenge
· Ability to plan and organise stimulating and engaging activities
· Proactive, resilient and organised
· Private household experience
· Confident driver ( preferably with own car, if not able to drive an automatic)
· Excellent communication skills
· Experienced in maintaining and organising a family home
· Willing to provide care and companionship to the family dogs
Nanny ( P/T) ( 25 – 30 hours per week)
Term time only or all year round
( £16 - £18 gph)
This role requires –
•A qualified and experienced nanny

• Confident driver ( preferably with own car, if not able to drive an automatic)

• Comfortable and confident around the family dogs
OR
Junior nanny/ support worker P/T - ( 25 – 30 hours per week)
Term time only or al year around
(14 - £15 gph)
This role requires -
• Experience in a childcare, education or support work environment
• Someone with experience or passion for supporting children or young adults with SEN needs inc supporting behaviours that may challenge
• Ability to follow planned activities inside and outside of the home environment
• Proactive, resilient and organised
• Ideally some experience in working in a private household
• Confident driver ( preferably with own car, if not able to drive an automatic)
• Excellent communication skills
• Willing to provide care and companionship to the family dogs
All roles can be live in or live out (early starts) and require an enhanced DBS and at least 2 references ( ideally one must be you most recent employer)
Non smokers- vapers only
Additional hours may be available
Either immediate start or end of August/start if September start.
Would consider a temporary candidate from now until 3rd August
