About Me
We are new parents to a little girl born in March 2019. I have been looking after her while on mat leave but have recently returned to work. My husband is a lawyer and works from home when he’s not in court. I work in London, with one day from home. We have two cats.
I’m looking for a long term match so my daughter can have consistency for the coming years. She’s a very happy child that doesn’t really cry. She is quite physical and very active so I’d like someone that can keep up with her and keep her entertained.
The position is to be filled ASAP.
My Requirements
I’d like someone that loves babies that my daughter can bond with. We want cover EITHER tue, wed and Thursday OR; wed, thur and fri.
Start and finish times will vary slightly each week (depending on when my husband goes to court) but we would guarantee a min no of hours per week (20) and a max (36). We can also agree the earliest and latest start times. For tue-thur, we’d consider fixed hours - around 34 (tbc with the right candidate).
If wed -fri, Fridays will generally be the short day as it’s my day off (when I like to go to the gym and see my horse for a couple of hours) but some weeks I might need to work so I’d like to ensure I have longer nanny cover if needed.
I’d like someone that:
loves children (obviously)
has baby first aid
Can prepare her home cooked meals (freezing stuff extra) and help wean her - she’s a bit fussy with food
Can do a general tidy - wash her clothes/ tidy her nursery
Help with sleep and toilet training when the time comes - getting her into a routine
Is advanced DBS checked
Is OFSTED registered. I’d consider those willing to apply for it
Clean driving licence
Likes going to baby groups and socialising with other nannies and children - we’d cover any costs including mileage
Equally, if I’m working from home one day, I would want the nanny to be comfortable with me popping in the room when I’m taking a break.
We’d offer extra evening or weekend baby sitting hours on occasion if of interest.
