About Me
My name is Abbie, I am a ofsted registered childminder as well as a mum of a 6year old son and step mom to two children, a boy aged 9 and a girl aged 11.I also have my fur baby, a 2 year old Cockapoo Penny & our 1 year old cat Leonard . We are a very active household who enjoy being outdoors and getting muddy!
I am an ofsted registered childminder and have worked in childcare for the past 9 years with experiences in baby's all the way to pre-school
My love for messy play activities are part of our daily life, exploring textures as well as our sensory exploration.
We have a very spacious 5 bedroom town house in the heart of Berryfileds within walking distance to two schools with Berryfields school being less within 2 minutes walk away. We have access to many parks within walking distance in the area. We have a lovely spacious, secluded and secure astro turf garden with a wide range of play equipment, ( trampoline, mud kitchen, soft play blocks,ride on toys etc....). Children's play room has a wide range of educational toys and books that are all accessible to children throughout the day
We have days out at soft play, farms as well as lots of activities and fun at home!
I follow the EYFS at all times.
We encourage enthusiasm, good manners, independence and consideration for others from the children in my care. Each child receives the individual attention he or she needs to develop new skills and interests, and to discover that learning is an exciting and fun experience. I have a caring and secure environment where children enjoy the friendship of others, have a happy and rewarding time and reach their full potential through praise and encouragement.
