About Me
My wife and I are both lawyers who live in the Barbican and work nearby. Our daughter (Jess) is nearly 3 years old, and currently at an Islington Montessori pre-school (during term-time) Monday - Thurs 9am - 3pm; and Friday 9am - midday.
My Requirements
We're currently advertising for a "wraparound" nanny, key points being (although we can be flexible depending on nanny preferences/fee levels):
- The role is usually around 23 hours during term time and 40 hours during school holidays, but if helpful we're happy to pay for 40 hours a week regardless. Usual hours would be approx. 2.45pm – 7pm Monday to Thursday and 11.45am – 6pm on Fridays (23 hours a week). During school holidays approx hours would be 10am – 6pm Monday to Friday (40 hours a week).
- Jess has a relatively shy, sensitive and cautious temperament, but when comfortable/familiar with someone is very interactive, loving and affectionate. She is very bright, active and switched on. She is currently attending Montessori nursery.
Duties: picking Jess up from nursery, taking her home and playing in the afternoon or possibly helping her to have a nap/quiet time post-school if she wants it once home, plus making/giving her some dinner early evening.
Ideal Nanny is developmentally/educationally focused, has plenty of experience, is professional and has childcare related qualifications.
Salary: flexible depending on the nanny, but indicative: £2700 - £3000 gross per month (again can be flexible though!)
