About Me
I live with my grown up daughter Imogen. In a small town by the sea in East Devon, I enjoy the outdoors and Archery, I have been a cub scout leader in a local village for 10 years
I am a firm believer in fresh air and being outside whenever possible, Nature and the outdoors can be used as such a positive educator for all ages, here at Little Pixies we get out to the beach, local parks attractions such as Escot whenever possible, we share an allotment with another childminder and are having fun growing and eating(we Hope our own produce, as well as playing in the garden, planting vegetables, doing crafts, sand and water play, music and the list goes on. I am soon to be a qualified forest school leader
I am a very experienced childminder, and in over 10+ years have looked after almost 40 children, I like to get back to basics and allow children to use their imagination and be creative, keeping TV and video games to a minimum.
My Experience
I have worked in various froms of childcare for almost 20yrs, from babysitting, to working as a housematron in a boarding school, I managed a summer holiday activity centre for 3yrs. I have been childminding for over 10yrs.
I have worked with deaf children and their families.
As mentioned earlier I have run cubs for 10yrs.
My Qualifications
School qualified to A level.
