My Summary

My Experience

In terms of child care, i have lots of experience with infants and toddlers in particular, both for evenings and full days. I have worked with four families in total, with three of these involving the care of children under one year old. I was a nanny for one of these children a few days a week, caring for them from the age of 10 months to two, before I moved to University in 2019. I also took part in work experience with a year 5 class as part of a pre-teaching qualification, which has allowed me to gain skills in caring for children older that that.
In terms of private tutoring, I have spent many years assisting my siblings with their own schoolwork, before going on to perform well in my own studies and different areas of mentorship. I am an A grade student with a range of subject knowledge, and am able to teach and guide with a empathy and patience.
In addition to the work experience mentioned above, at University I acted as a leader in a peer assisted learning scheme, which involved helping students to develop university skills, both academic and personal, and encouraging them with their work. All of this means that I although I do not have official childminder qualifications, I am more than suitable to perform the role of tutor and/or babysitter.

My Qualifications

I have not been recently DBS checked, and do not have child minding qualifications. However, I have six months of experience with Primary School children (Year 5) which required me to have a DBS form completed. I also have experience with a range of ages in care and tutoring because of previous roles as a nanny and my university mentoring role.

My Availability

Currently have an open schedule, however this may change depending on any future employment. I cannot perform overnight duties.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

My fees for childcare are dependent on the parents level of income, how many children, what time of day, etc. However I usually work on an hourly rate according to the national average, not a fixed fee, which may increase depending on the time of day.
For tutoring, my rates are again dependent on what people are willing to pay.
