About Me
I offer a home from home childcare setting in which your child can flourish and develop. I promote outdoor learning and children are exposed to many different experiences which develop their appreciation of our natural environment. We have a large garden with a vegetable patch for children to grow their own produce. We are an animal loving family with 3 guinea pigs; Star, Poppy and Tato, 1 dog named Bailey who loves a cuddle and last but not least, we have handful of beautiful hens.
I also have a horse kept 5 minutes from home, which (with permissions from parents) all children get to experience looking after her and jumping in muddy puddles along the way.
My Experience
I am Mummy to our two daughters. However before I became an Ofsted "Good" registered childminder I taught all ages of children to ride for over 8 years.

My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
Daily rate: £60.00
Within my day rate the following is included: breakfast, lunch, snacks (x1), drinks, cows milk, evening meal, baby wipes, nappy sacks and days out.
Day rate hours are: 08:00 and 17:30
Half Day rate £40.00
This includes the meals, snack and drinks you require, appropriate to the hours your child is attending.
Unsocial Hours: £15 per hour. This is charged before 08:00 and after 17:30
Bigger outings will be changed accordingly.

Katie is quite simply a wonderful childminder. Our son has been in her setting for four years now since he was just 6 months old. He absolutely adores her and so do we! We have a great working relationship always with clear communication and professionalism.
She ensures all of her childrens requirements are catered for, has a huge variety of age appropriate toys and activities, organises trips out and has a lovely garden space to play in. Not forgetting all the pets who the children love! Katie always goes out of her way to accommodate us, she even organised my sons swimming lessons to be at the same time and place as her daughters so she can take him for me whilst I am at work. I don’t know what we would do without her!

Nothing is too much trouble for Katie, the children’s requirements are always priority. My little one is always excited all the activities Katie does with the children.
I have personally found Katie to be approachable and friendly to talk to. It is always a struggle leaving your child to work but Katie made the transition easy not only for my child but also me as the overprotective mum.
