My Summary
About Me
I am a mother of 3, 1 at secondary and 2 in primary school. Over the last 24 years I have worked in many different nurseries and schools, after having my youngest child I decided to carry on with my career from my own home as a childminder.
I registered as a childminder in September 2019 and recently in February 2022 I had my first Ofsted inspection and was graded a 'GOOD'
I have a 3 bed semi-detached house, and have an outbuilding at the back of the house which is our play room, with kitchen and bathroom facilities where we spend most of our day, with quick access to a lovely big garden.
My Experience
I have 24 years experience working with children in various nurseries and school. I have excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and work in accordance to the statutory frame work for the early years foundation stage. As well as first aid trained, food hygiene, safeguarding children and many other training sessions I have attended to aid my profession.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 in Early Years Care and Education, I am first aid trained and have a level 2 food hygiene I regularly attended other courses to improve the quality of care i provide.
My Availability
From September 2023 Taz's Tiny Treasures opens at 8a.m - 6p.m Monday to Thursday and is now Term time only and I no longer provide wrap around care.

Our daughter went to Taz's establishment for a short term before the summer break and she loved it there and she has been wanting to go back after the summer break.
Taz is very warm and attentive and her space is ideal for a mix of indoor and outdoor play.

Taz, is uniquely brilliant with young children. She provides a place where your child is cared for and learns while playing. The environment is lovely. My child thrived in her care and went from strength to strength. There are always activities and regular events to delight and educate all the children. I am sad my daughter will leave what has been a home from home to go to schooling. Time at Taz is cherished.

Being a first time mum returning to work when baby was only 8 months, I was terrified about finding the right place for my little boy. I needn’t have worried. Taz looks after our son with such care and attention. We get sent photos and updates of how he is doing and a daily rundown in his booklet that we can reflect on. I never have any concerns leaving him in her care and he is always happy and smiley when we drop him off and collect him. Thank you Taz!

From the first point of contact, Taz was so helpful. She invited us to view her home which has a lovely setting for the children she's looks after. Taz answered all my questions and kept me up to date with information needed at all times. I would highly recommend Taz.

We feel very lucky to have found Taz, she’s already part of the family! She has a lovely home environment complete with a fantastic new dedicated play room, almost like a nursery. Despite the changing circumstances of lockdowns she’s been flexible, and very supportive with our needs & schedules.
She does some super pre-planned activities that link to the topical moments, educational goals, or team working. He has additional hearing and speech needs and she's very supportive of the plans & goals from our specialists too. We get sent photos so we can talk about them back at home. When we moved house she even got the kids doing “house” activities to help explain to him what was happening and they made us some surprise cupcakes. She’s incredibly caring and thoughtful & our son loves his time there.

Our son used to go to a nursery and we decided to change to a childminder to give him more attention and a home environment. Taz has been amazing, she helped our son to focus and be better with instructions, we could see improvement from the first week. She is a caring person who also understands children's behaviour, her kids are also very nice and make our son feel like at home.
Everyday Taz sends us pictures together with information about nice the activities they have done during the day.
I totally recommend Taz.

I had childminder in past for my 14 month baby, but she wasnt so good as Taz. She is wonderful childminder and very caring, warm person. My daughter loves her and her daughter. They are playing and learning every day something new. Every day keep sending pictures what they been doing. 5 star childminder
