Fantastic home from home setting.

Our twins have been coming to Julie since 2022 and they love their time there!
Julie offers a home from home setting for them in which we struggled with when attending their previous nursery.
We are given full accounts of their day and plently of evidence of their learning, pictures home and photographs shared of their day.
Julie follows their routine and tailors the day according to their needs.
We are very lucky to have found Julie as our children love attending the setting as do we!

Friendly, flexible and professional

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for everything you have done for us and our daughter. Since she first came to you when she was 9 months old she has blossomed into a confident, happy little four year old who is ready for Reception through no small effort on your part.

Your commitment to providing the highest quality care and learning environment for her has been very much appreciated. You have always put in that extra effort which has insured that we, as parents, know she is well looked after. The observations and insights you have professionally documented are always of interest to both us and our extended family.

Thank you for all the interesting and stimulating activities and projects you have provided to aid our daughter's learning. From potato planting and growing to ICT and cooking tea outside she has enjoyed a wide range of experiences. I am sure she will also miss the regular visits to Bristol Zoo, Slimbridge, Westonbirt and many other places too!

You and your family have always treated children in your care as part of the family and throughout the last four years you have provided a caring, happy place that must seem like home from home to our daughter. She has made several friends whilst in your care, several in the higher years at her new school which will stand her in good stead.

It will be sad for our daughter to leave your care as she has very much enjoyed her time with you and I will also miss our regular catch ups. You have always offered advice and been flexible in your approach to care.

Thank you again for your unending help and support.

Helpful, caring and flexible

I would like to thank you for all your time and care you have given my son since he started coming to you in reception.
He is now a strong, independent, caring chap in year 6 and you have played a significant part in helping him become that and in helping to reinforce core values , sharing, caring, and helping others in the times you have had him , thank you for your part.

My son has been cared for by Julie since he started in reception class back in 2005. She was very helpful and flexible in the 'settling in' period they all have to go through and then when all settled in he went to Julie most mornings and after school for a couple of hours.

The fact that there were always children of many ages for him to interact with and play with has been great for his development being an only child. I think he misses being able to play with the younger children.
Thank you for all your hard work , for the hours you spent getting the children to create cards and pictures, calendars and mini projects, they thoroughly enjoyed doing it and as a parent I will always treasure those items which are hand made.

I would personally like to give you a big big thank you for all the help and support you have given us over the past 6 years .

Caring, Friendly and Flexible

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for all the care and attention that you have shown my children over the four and a half years that they have been in your care.

Since their first days with you they have felt welcomed and happy in your home. Both you and your family have always treated them as one of the family and I am sure that they feel that your house is a home from home!
The activities which they take part in at your house are always practical and fun, and they love the ‘snacks’! You have also managed to cater very well with the special dietary requirements of one of my daughters with no problems what so ever.

They have always enjoyed the fact that the children that they share you with are of different ages, and I am always amazed that you manage to cater for all their many needs whilst still managing to have time for them all individually, as and when needed.

I just want to say from me and my children, many thanks for being you and always going the extra mile! Thanks for always being there for help, advice or just a chat.
