My Experience

After leaving school in 2005 I worked at a nursery just outside of Chichester for just under a year looking after all age groups, from babies up to four year olds. In 2006 I then went on to look after an eight month old boy and a year later looked after his sister from 48 hours old. Through this family in 2007 I gained a job nannying/babysitting a family with four children, who at the time ranged from two years old to ten years old. Then through this family I gained more nannying/babysitting with a family of three children, from one year old to ten years old. Later on they had another baby.

In 2009 I went to Norland College to train as a Nanny alongside getting a BA Honours in Early Childcare from the University of Gloucestershire. Since qualifying in 2013, I have looked after two girls, one in Clapham and one just outside Newbury. Both were temporary jobs and both were under the age of one. In September 2015 I nannied for boy/girl twins from a month old, where I worked for 18 months. In 2016 I went back to Norland College to gain a qualification as a Norland Maternity Nurse and have since been a Maternity Nurse to a little girl born May 2019 in Staffordshire.

My Qualifications

In 2003 I completed my GCSEs and in 2005 I completed my A levels. In 2009 I went to Norland College to train as a Nanny alongside getting a BA Honours in Early Childcare from the University of Gloucestershire. In 2016 I went back to Norland College to gain a qualification as a Norland Maternity Nurse. In 2019 I updated my Paediatric First Aid.

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
• Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)
