My Summary
About Me
I am an OFSTED-registered childminder with Montessori method of education and curriculum. And member of Pacey. I have been working in a nursery setting in London since 2011 in different roles. I have a 8-year-old daughter.
I believe that children who leave their home for a new environment should also feel like home, with lots of love and care. I realise how important it is to know that your child is in the hands of someone who will take good care of them, stimulate and educate them, and give them enjoyable activities. Additionally, you want them to feel at home, protected, and secure in an environment where you believe their interests are being considered, not in a setting where they are simply expected to "blend in" with what is going on around them. That is an element of the service I offer, which aims to work together with parents to make sure that all the children in my care enjoy and accomplish their goals to the best of their ability.
By valuing and embracing their uniqueness, teaching them to feel good about themselves, and teaching them to appreciate and value both their similarities and differences to others in a positive way, I also hope to contribute to children's having a healthy childhood by encouraging them to eat healthily, take care of themselves, and make a positive contribution to their daily lives.
My Experience
I have more than 18 years of childcare experience. I have a 8- year-old daughter of my own, therefore understand the joys and trials of parenting. I worked in a few well-known nursery settings until my childminding journey began. I worked as a room leader, floor marshal, deputy, and manager. In between times, I was mentoring staff who came from Montessori institutions.
During my time of work, I have cared for all age groups between 3 months to 5 years. I am a great problem solver and can offer lots of helpful advice. I also have some experience working with special needs.
I am highly trained and committed to delivering the highest standard of quality care, while making you feel completely comfortable that your children will have a safe, stimulating, and fun day with me.
I started this new and exciting childminding adventure a months ago. My journey into childcare began in 2005, when I enrolled in a level 3 diploma in childcare and a level 4 international diploma in the Montessori method of education in 2008 .
I guess implementing what I have learned through work experience has allowed me a greater understanding of educational theory and the ways in which furthering my knowledge through undergraduate study could improve my abilities. I believe that as I am keen to study the method, it will make me strong to develop my career well.
Working with children continually inspires me to do what I can to improve my ability in education by specialising in the modern education system.
I have enrolled for masters in Early childhood education. Studying and working in education has shown me that it is a challenging and rewarding career, but I believe my track record of dedication and hard work in both elements suggests that I can meet its demands. My commitment to providing a first-rate education for my future children has seen me strive to gain as many additional useful skills as possible. It is hugely important to enjoy what I do, as working is such a big part of my life.

Just two weeks of taking our daughter to Willow’s place and i see so much difference. Her words are more clear and she has become more expressive. Willow pays attention to details and tailors the care of each children to their personal needs. She is an advocate for healthy eating and snacking and i love that about her.
Her environment is very clean and peaceful. Our daughter won’t stop saying she wants to go to Willow’s place every morning after our two weeks came to an end.
Willow is kind hearted as she gladly took in our daughter even at the last minute and I’m glad we chose her.
I would definitely choose Willow again.

Thank you
Vilo provided excellent care for our little boy (2) and our daughter (4). Not only is she friendly, gentle and caring but also provides a range of activities every day for the children. My daughter particularly loved getting butterflies! I couldn’t recommend this setting enough. Unfortunately our time with Vilo is coming to end as we are relocating but we will all miss her and her wonderful family.

Our time with Willows has now come to an end but the care she gave to my little girl was exceptional. From the very first day I have been completely at ease with Willows, she welcomed my baby and gave her the best care, she nurtured her and helped her grow from a baby into a nearly 3 year old.
Willows always gave excellent hand overs and kept me in the loop about everything. Her setting is clean and tidy and has a lovely variety of toys. I highly recommend Wilows to any family.
