About Me
I am a highly energetic, loving, caring and patient individual who adores kids. I live in Hackney (Upper Clapton) close to Stoke Newington. I have many years of experience working in mainstream schools and in nursery settings. I worked with children aged from birth to 11yrs old. My experience also comes from having four kids of my own.
I have an immense amount of knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and have a clear understanding of the different stages of development.
My priority is to help children become independent learners, raise their confidence and teach them to be proud of themselves socially and emotionally through their developmental stages. I will support children to be enthusiastic about learning by familiarising them with the Early Years curriculum before entering mainstream school, assisting them in exceeding their full potential.
I aim to apply my knowledge when working from home, by allowing children to get the best individual attention they deserve. I will promote curiosity and encourage critical thinking through investigation and a variety of activities indoors and outdoors. The advantage of having small groups in a home setting allows each child to receive the same quality teaching and experience as they do in a school however, in this case, in a homely environment and at a pace that suits the individual child.
I aim to provide an atmosphere that will promote a multi-cultural and diverse setting. This will be done through various activities e.g food, creativity and celebrations.
Safeguarding children’s well-being Is of utmost importance in my setting and on trips. Encouraging healthy eating and physical activities is imbedded daily and children will have very little screen time. I believe active learning is a more lasting way of retaining information. I will use my creative skills to make a fun environment and an inviting atmosphere to encourage both boys and girls to use and enjoy all the areas of learning, sure they have an exciting and memorable experience. I aim to make sure children feel safe, secure, feel loved, valued and cared for, while in my presence.

My Fees
- Childminding from £11.50 per hour
• £80 full day from 8am - 6pm
• £11.50 hourly rate for less than 5 hour service. (meals, snacks and agency fee included)
• 15/30 hours free funded place accepted
• £13 school Pick up/drop off
• Extra hours outside of my working hours is £15an hour
• Educational trips subject to trip details on the week of the outing.

For the past year Fatema has been doing after-school pick ups and care for our daughter (currently in Reception). We feel truly lucky having found Fatema! She is an incredibly caring, gentle, professional childminder that has helped our daughter blossom into a confident, kind young girl. She comes home from Fatema's with the most creative artwork (far more impressive than what she's done at larger nursery settings in the past!) and sharing new things she's learnt about the world. She loves the food at Fatema's and has built wonderful relationships with the other children attending Fatema's setting. We really couldn't be happier with the care she has received - thank you Fatema!

Our son started with Fatema when he turned 1 and has been there for nearly a year. Fatema is an incredibly loving, warm, and wonderful childminder. We heard about her through the recommendation of other parents and we are very grateful to have found her. Our son really loves her, is always happy to go, eats her amazing food, and has the loveliest time. He is a very cuddly and affectionate boy and likes to feel safe, and we are so happy that he gets that level of care from Fatema. She also picks our daughter up from school a few days a week and both children love being there. She is a very special childminder :)

I found Fatema after a bit of a research and following a lot of reccomendations from other parents whose children used to attend her nursery. My daughter started attending when she was 11 months old.
Fatema is very warm and welcomes children with a big smile. Her warm attitude helped a lot with the settling in periond. She was supportivie throughout. Now my daughter comes in with confidence excited to meet her friends and having fun.
Fatema is very creative in providing different activies and plays. They are thought through to engange children to learn new skills in a fun way eg: fine motor skills during art activies or to practice imagination when making a caste out of cardboard . My daughter loves the activies and we enjoy seeing the daily photos Fatema sends out.
Fatema is aware of child developmental needs and is able to adapt accordingly to the individual child. She encourages children to be independent and to try new things. We are amazed at the skills my daughter learns there - eg. Eating with cutlery.
Fatema is aware of safeguarding and providing safe environemnt. She is knowledgable and experienced in first aid. Her home nursery is safe and clean with a variety of toys and books for children. She created sensory boards on the walls which my daughter loves playing with.
We feel very blessed that we found Fatema. My daughter’s big smile in the morning when she is greeted by Fatema says it all.

After searching high and low for a childminder I am blessed to have found Fatema! I'm a fussy parent and wanted the best for my daughter and can honestly say I could not find anyone better.
Fatema is honest, friendly, warm and welcoming. From the moment I met her I knew she was the one for us! She is very creative often coming up with some innovative ways to teach children.
My daughter settled very well and didn't even cry on her settling days - infact she wanted to stay more! My daughter (a fussy eater) finishes her plate when in Fatema's care which is a strong sentiment of the lovely food Fatema prepares (fresh daily too)!
My daughter has strongly developed her speech and continues to learn as part of the EYFS.
We're kept up to date via pictures making us feel very connected.
I know my daughter is in the best of hands - Fatema is like a second mum!
Strongly recommend to any parent.

Fatema was absolutely wonderful with our little girl who was just under a year when we started with her. She has a lovely mixture of warmth and creativity - the children were always happy playing or doing something fun and arty! Fatema was also incredible during a scary time when our little one had a seizure but she was incredible in her care (as she is Health & Safety trained) and knew exactly what to do and was so reassuring to us that she was in the best hands whilst we made our way there. She also cooks yummy meals which was a bonus! It was such a lovely start to childcare for her and I absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone in Clapton / Hackney!

Our two year old daughter has been with Fatema for almost a year now, and we cannot rate her care and setting highly enough. Fatema creates a safe, nurturing, cosy but active and creative environment each day, its hard to get my daughter out of the door when I collect her! We also highly value Fatema's openness to talk through any observations or events - we feel very connected to our daughter's day-to-day.

For the past nine months Fatema has been looking after my now 2 year old daughter, who loves every minute! When Fatema was on holiday she asked "Where Fatema?" every second day.
The warm atmosphere, creative DIY activities and Fatema's excellent cooking drew us to the nursery. It's a wonderful place, full of warmth and fun. My daughter always comes home with a new skill, song or words (the Tidy Up song has been working miracles in our living room...!). Fatema is attuned to her interests and very responsive, catering play and activities to things my daughter likes as well as introducing her to new games. They spend a lot of time outdoors as well as having creative and educational indoor time. Fatema keeps us up-to-date with their activities and picks up on the same small changes in our daughter's development as we do.
I can't recommend Fatema's childcare enough. We love it so much we make an hour round-trip for drop-off and pick-up without batting an eyelid!

Our daughter is three has been going to Fatema’s for a year now. Since first meeting our daughter Fatema has been brilliant at engaging with her, stimulating her learning and supporting her growth. Our daughter is always enthused by the activities Fatema does. Fatema tailors her activities to the suit the amount of children at her setting on a given day and to each child individually. They have a good split between time inside and outside, with long-term plant-growing and craft projects keeping the kids focused on a project over days and weeks. Our daughter is forever coming home with (sometimes quite advanced!) new words and stories that she has learnt during the day, and always ends her visits with a big hug for Fatema. We really like Fatema and her setting, and the individualised care she provides to our daughter. So far we have recommended Fatema to two of our friends, whose kids have gone on to attend.

Fatema has quickly become an integral part of our 2 year old daughters life. The environment feels safe and nurturing, which was the first draw for us, as was Fatemas obvious experience in working with children. We get regular updates on what they are getting up to, and its always something different and exciting, designed to stimulate her inquisitive brain. Every day our daughter hops out of her pram and straight into the living room ready to play with her friends. I feel completely at ease knowing our girl is in such good hands, and that her little mind is being fed with a mixture of activities and adventures. She always sleeps like a dream after a day with Fatema! Highly recommended.

Fatema has been looking after our daughter R, now 1yrs old for 4 months now and we are so pleased with her and the progress our daughter is making. We decided to choose Fatema's home nursery because when we visited and met her, it was clear she was knowledgeable about baby/child development but most importantly, had a real passion for kids and running a caring and stimulating nursery for them. R loves going there and does so many activities during the day. Fatema has a lot of experience with babies/kids and so keeps her busy with physical, learning-development encouraging and fun activities with a schedule of stories, crafts, outdoor activities and trips, sensory experiences and general play. We receive regular photos and updates which is great. Fatema is really flexible to R and our needs as working parents and communication is great and easy. R comes home at the end of the day smiling, well napped and happy. I would thoroughly recommend to other parents.
