About Me
I am a level 3 qualified Childminder, I am registered in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames & Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.
I currently live with my partner, a retired Met police Sergeant, who also has an Ofsted Enhanced DBS Check and completes all my administration for me. I am situated off of Blandford Rd in Teddington next to Bushy Park and the NPL. We are 15 15-minute walk from Fulwell and Teddington Train Stations. Buses are 33, R68, 285 and SL7.

I use an online App which allows secure access for parents and guardians to see setting information, contracts, messages, and live updates of their child's care throughout the day it also allows online forms to be signed and invoices downloaded at your convenience.
We have 7 very loving and happy grown-up children, 5 girls and 2 boys between us who have all moved away and Cosmo our Black Main Coon cat who adores children and is adored by them all.
My Experience
Level 3 Children and Young Persons in the Workplace qualified. I was a Room Leader in a large Nursery setting in Teddington. TW11. I have over 30yrs experience of childcare as both a Mother and practitioner.

My Fees
- Childminding from £9.00 per hour
I offer free childcare with Funded places depending upon age. 15/30hrs
I charge £ 9.00 per Hr. For non funded hours.
Term time contracts for teachers are available, however, we charge 50% during the school holidays.
Payments are Monthly or Weekly.
Bank Transfer only
Everything but nappies and the money for the occasional trip are included in the fee i.e 3 home cooked meals a day and fresh fruit and 3x snacks in the day
Trips will be planned and parents will have plenty of time to prepare if there is a charge (i.e entry to places such as the theatre, bird world and similar)

My daughter has been going to Leda full time since September '23 and loves being there. Leda has created a fantastic setting full of fun and love, it is very much a home from home. The children enjoy every minute of being there. Leda provides healthy meals and does crafts/takes the children to the park nearby and lots of other fun activities. Leda is always really flexible and makes life very easy for working parents. I feel so happy leaving my daughter in her care and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder.

My son has been going to Leda for over a year and loves it. Leda is warm, kind and caring, and creates a nurturing environment for the children in her care. She’ll make home-cooked meals (much better than a nursery setting!) for breakfast, lunch and dinner. She even made my son a chicken soup with lemon and ginger when he wasn’t feeling well – which shows how she goes above and beyond. Leda also organises lovely activities for the little ones (painting, crafts, learning games, etc) and will often take them to local playgroups, parks or the coffee shop. She’s also friendly, flexible and unflappable! It’s so nice knowing my son is being taken care of so well.

Leda has been taking care of my Son since September 2023 and I honestly cannot fault her! I was extremely anxious going back to work and leaving my son with someone, but I needn’t have worried.
Leda is kind, loving, very attentive and my son settled in really quickly. He is always happy when I collect him as are the other children in her care. It’s like a home away from home but with lots of friends to play with!
Home cooked meals are always a hit with him too and he sleeps well.
Leda is always extremely accommodating and responsive if you have any questions, she puts you at ease and is reassuring. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
I feel really lucky I found Leda! Best childminder around

Our son loves his time at Leda. So much so that he’s disappointed not to go at the weekends. Leda is kind and caring and provides a wonderful environment for the children she looks after. Our son has really developed over the last year and particularly enjoys trips to Bushy Park and playing in her paddling pool over the summer!

We have had the pleasure of Leda as our childminder since February 2020 for our daughter, from 20 months. Leda is a total breathe of fresh air to deal with, she is kind, attentive and my daughter loves being in her warm and nurturing environment. As a mother of 3 children and bags of experience Leda is unflappable and is always truly welcoming to the children and parents alike. Leda takes the children out of the home environment on a regular basis to near by Bushy Park, playgrounds, coffee shops, the library and stay and plays and makes great use of her lovely garden with a paddling pool insitu! John, Leda’s husband is equally friendly to deal with and their combination works really well to operate a successful and seamless business. I am yet to find any faults in their setup. Leda has made a huge impact on our daughter’s development and I am in no doubt we will stay in touch!

Our daughter has been going to Leda’s for over a year now and absolutely loves it there. Leda is very warm and caring and clearly loves spending time with the children in her care. She sends pictures of their regular outings to Bushy Park, art activities and other adventures. The food Leda cooks is varied, tasty and nutritious - it is what she and John eat too so much better than the food found in most childcare settings. She has always been flexible if we have needed additional days or different hours on occasions which is greatly appreciated. I really trust Leda and John and feel very grateful that my daughter is in such safe hands.

Leda is fantastic, she has a lot of experience looking after children and it really shows in her caring attitude towards the children in her care. She does a lot of fun and educational activities such as arts and crafts, STEM related activities and lots of out door play too. My daughter loves coming here and I know she’s in safe hands. Healthy home cooked meals are provided to the little ones which is great. We’re lucky to have found Leda.

Leda has been looking after my 5 year old son after school and full time when needed. I feel extremely confident with leaving Patrik in Leda’s care. She is very warm and caring person and Patrik is always very happy to stay with her.
She is extremely clear in her communication and firm when needed.
I couldn’t ask for a better childminder for my son.

As a first time mother I was super anxious about going back to work. I had spend a whole year with my daughter and she was a lil fussy on who would come near her. I was stressed out trying to find the right person to give her the care she needs while am working. Then I found leda and I've haven't looked back. In under 2 weeks my daughter has settled in with her. Making new friends, learning to share and I think she like her food more than mine. Very positive environment for development. Leda don't just love her work but the love and attention she gives my daughter make me feel so relaxed when am working. Husband john does the admins side of things but is a positive male figure to my daughter. I get Lovely picture and videos that makes my shift goes smoothly. I can't rate leda enough. Amazing children skills.
