About Me
Hello I am Carol. I am based in burntwood and currently live with my partner, youngest daughter and our dog. Following my strong passion for childcare and ensuring children are happy and ready to learn i started Hedgehugs childminding over 8 years ago.
I am insured with pacey and hold a current first aid and safeguarding certificate.
We are always out in the community and visiting special places. Our beliefs are that children are happier when they have the space and support to be themselves. This is supported in our setting by being national trust members, having yearly passes to the zoo, attending forest school session just to name a few. We are members of the forest childcare association.
My Experience
I have worked in a school for 12 years before deciding to become a childminder. Therefore have heaps of knowledge on childcare, the EYFS and the importance of school readiness.
My Qualifications
I have all the relevant qualifications for a childminder and more.

- Autism awareness
- Working in partnership with parents.

I am currently open 7.30-5.30 Monday to Thursdays.
