We are a fun, dynamic and energetic family with 4 kids. Rafferty is 6 and the twins,Effie and Espen, turn 3 at the end of February. Oliver is 12 and lives with us 50% of the time and is pretty self sufficient although he will never turn down the offer of food! All of them get on really well are very happy campers and lots of fun!
My boyfriend has a job that takes him all over the world and is away 2/3 nights each week, on top of this I have a fairly demanding job therefore, you will have a lot of autonomy in your role.
As a family we are very active and love being outdoors, both older boys are football obsessed and essentially enjoy any sport! Weekends are spent playing out in the garden, swimming, taking Oliver and Rafferty to their football matches, hanging out with friends and pretty much being none stop!
Effie has a medical condition called Primary Cilia Dyskinesia (PCD) which is a form of lung disease and has to have a nebuliser and do physio/breathing exercises twice a day. All treatment is done at nursery during the day however, you will be given full training in case she needs anything additional when she is poorly. She is an absolute trooper and you wouldn’t know she lives with this disease as she just gets on with it. It’s nothing to be fearful of as she in the main can do the treatment herself and manages it really well and we are unbelievably proud of how she just aces life.
My Requirements
We are looking for a lovely nanny to work ideally 14.00/15.00-19.30/20.00 Monday to Thursday however, we can be flexible for the right person.
The role would involve collecting the children from school/nursery, doing homework, making meals/packed teas, bath time and bedtime for the twins and hopefully squeeze in a bit of time for some fun!
They do tennis and swimming at David Lloyd as well as football training so we would split taking them to their classes between us. However, access to your own car is essential.
Additional hours will be available during school holidays and some babysitting at the weekend to enable us to go out for dinner occasionally.
Whoever comes and works with us with be pivotal in our family lives and we are really excited about having someone come and join our dynamic and fun loving family :).
