About Me
My name is Jo and I am a 29 year old primary school teacher. I live in Bursledon with my fiance and my two little girls. I am currently working part time as a online tutor and am looking to do either nannying or babysitting for local families who need the extra help.
I have been a primary school teacher for 8 years and have lots of experience working with various age children including children with special needs. I am a fun loving, bubbly person who loves working with children. In my spare time I love days out with my family, taking my little girl to various groups, soft play, farms, zoos etc.
My Experience
I have a BA (Hons) degree in Primary Education and have been a primary school teacher in Brighton and Hampshire for nearly 8 years. I have a current DBS check as part of my job but am willing to get an updated one if the family required it. I have done a pediatric first aid course in the past but would be willing to do a refresher course if needed. I have done volunteer work at children's centres, worked in an outdoor education centre and have lots of experience babysitting for my friend's children of various ages.
My Qualifications
BA (Hons) Primary Education
I went to the University of Brighton for 4 years to complete my Primary Education degree.
I have done a beginners course in Speech Language and a course in Paediatric First Aid but as this was a while ago I would be willing to do a refresher if the family required it.
I have a current DBS as part of my job but am willing to do a new one if neccessary.
My Availability
I am pretty flexible around my tutoring hours to suit the families needs.
