We are a happy and loving family of five. Mum and Dad are Laura and Grant Read and we have three children, Bella (12), Juliette (8) and Rufus (6). Not forgetting Jasper, our very small dog!
We live in beautiful rural Dorset, in the village of Woodlands, just outside Wimborne and near to Verwood.
We both work full time and our youngest children go on the bus to school in Cranborne, whereas our eldest catches the bus to Bournemouth where she attends BSG.
We benefit from a wide network of family and friends close by who are very involved in the children's lives. Our schedules are quite varied, can include international travel, and we do sometimes work from home. The children do have after school clubs and lessons all in Verwood or Ringwood.
My Requirements
We are looking for the right person to join the tribe, primarily on Monday - Friday basis to provide after school care including bus pick up and afterschool clubs. The flexibility to do some evening babysitting and overnights in addition would be great but not essential. The position would be for around 20 hours a week (3pm - 7pm) with flexibility for increase in school holidays to cover weeks where we are not able to take holiday ourselves. We do like to travel in school holidays when we can and our current Nanny has travelled with us on several occasions.
Although our current Nanny does not live with us, we would consider this arrangement and would be open to someone who would be happy to take on housekeeping and dog walking responsibilities alongside the childcare for a bigger job role.
