Muntje

We love her! ❤️

My little boy has been going to Muntje (Muna)during the school holidays and we are soo happy and glad we found her as he absolutely loves her place and her! My little boy is non verbal and has additional needs so we were really apprehensive but his taken a shine to Muna straightaway! As a family we can see when he is with Muna his soo regulated and soo happy! She will update us throughout the day with what his doing etc and if i have any worries she will always reassure me. Shes really picked up on my sons cues, very attentive and very observant especially when his done something positive or theres a small win! Its soo lovely to see thier bond. Muma is always thorough with detailed end of day feedback . I honestly can't express how happy an relieved i am in finding Muna. Thank you! X

Muna turned out to be a real Godsend!

Muna is everything I hoped I'd find in a childminder when I found I needed childcare for my son with SEN. She put me and my wife at ease immediately as this was my first time leaving him, outside of the family. My son (3 and a half at the time of going to Muna) loves visiting Muna. She creates a fun and educational environment and is attentive to development opportunities and logs these, so I never feel I miss out on important milestones. Muna is a kind, patient person and a fantastic childminder. I am very glad we found her!

A real home-from-home

If you are looking for a true home-from-home then Muna's childcare is for you. My boy started when he was 13 months old for three days a week, and my four year old daughter goes one day a week. Muna and her family are all involved in creating a warm, safe, welcoming environment with children at the heart of it. I feel very happy leaving my children with her, knowing they will be cared for and nurtured. Muna is great at communicating with us - sending updates & photos, and always gives lots of notice for things like holidays. The children get to go into the fabulous garden lots, and out on trips to playgroups and forest school. Meals are home made, delicious and varied and Muna was very accommodating to our vegetarian diet. Honestly, we can't recommend enough!

Excellent Childminding Service

Our son and daughter has been with Muna, Salah and assistant Amal since around a year, and both have absolutely loved being looked after by them. My son specifically has ASD and Muna has gone above and beyond to work with him. By thinking of ideas and solutions to address his needs, as well as developing learning activities of all kinds to bring him further along his development (from reading, writing, phonics, maths etc)
When he started with Muna, his speech and communication skills were delayed, and he had been with another preschool environment who couldn’t deal with his needs, so since nearly 2 years of being with Muna, he has developed these skills tremendously and is now able to hold conversations and communicate much better with us. Muna has been proactive by linking him with local SEN support services which is truly appreciated, and all of this will be an important part of ensuring Ihsan’s future in Education goes as smoothly as possible, putting steps in place to ensure he has the appropriate support that's needed along his education journey. She’s assisting us by completing and application for an EHCP for our son in order to put support in place for him once he starts reception this September. She truly shows such care for our children, and treats them like one of her own. She’s also very flexible, and always willing to help when I need ad-hoc childcare, sometimes at last minute.
Both of my children are always happy and excited to be spending the day with them and loves seeing all their friends there. Muna and the team have provided a very caring, supportive and fun home-from-home environment in which our children have thrived. Their communication has always been excellent, with both children and parents, the children have a wide variety of activities during the day including plenty of time outside, and the food they provide is very healthy and varied. We’ve truly appreciated the support Muna has provided our children as well as us as parents and we would highly recommend her service for anyone looking for top quality, reliable, caring, understanding of Learning Disabilities childminding services in the area.
