About Me
I have grown up in Bristol and wanted to put down roots here to start my own family. I am currently deputy nursery manager and run a baby room in BS7 as part of a local nursery which I love as we are the first welcoming face of that family to the nursery and so I understand the importance of this. My family consist of me, my husband, my two teenage girls! And recently a son who was born in September 2020!
My Experience
I have worked predominantly with under 5’s and have been in childcare for 20 years plus. I have a foundation degree in early years and a degree in health and social care management which has really helped me to develop my skills further especially the understanding of attachment theory and positive brain development in babies.
I have worked abroad in a children’s holiday club, in various nurseries, and a children’s centre. I love working with children and getting to know the families behind them as well as learning about each families own culture and traditions. During the years I have gained first aid qualifications, fire safety and training on diversity and equality.
