About Me
I live in Colden Common just south of Winchester with my husband, our 2 grown up children and our daughter who is at secondary school.
My home offers a warm, friendly and relaxed environment with plenty of space. I offer a variety of resources for the children to help them develop and grow while having fun and playing. These include craft, malleable materials, messy play and baking to name but a few. I also have a good sized garden for the children to be active in with a two story Wendy house, climbing frame with slide, large sunken trampoline, sand pit and a ball pit with over 3500 balls inside. I also have some quiet areas if they feel like sitting and doing a puzzle or reading etc.
One of the things we really enjoy is taking the children on our out and about sessions where we explore the natural world around us. These sessions are run in all weather looking at bugs, the weather, changes to our seasons and wildlife. I do these sessions around the village, in the woods and at the local country parks.
My normal working hours are between 7:30am to 6pm. I can be flexible during these hours so please contact me to discuss the hours you require. I am available all year round and also offer term time only contracts.
I am Ofsted registered, DBS checked. a registered Pacey member, I'm registered with the ICO.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder for 22 years during which time I have looked after children from 5 months up to 14 years old. I also have experience of looking after children from birth to adults as I have 3 children of my own born in 1996, 2000 and 2010.

I have also done various other childcare course: Implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Developing Enabling Environments, Data protection, Character of effective Learning, Developing Gross Motor Skills, Supporting 2 year olds in the EYFS, Learning Through Play, Supporting Early Language Development plus many more.

I do accept children who are able to collect the free 15 / 30 hours government grant funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
I also accept tax free childcare.
