About Me
My name is Yumei, I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder based in Southfields. On my last inspection in September 2022 I was rated as "Good". We are a family run childminding team, and we strive to give the children a home from home experience.
I registered as a Childminder in 2019 and this was the best thing I could ever have done as I absolutely love minding! My husband joined me in 2021 and we love working together and seeing the positive impact it has on the children we care for.
We live next to Wimbledon common, and we spend plenty of outdoor time walking through the common.
We do loads of fun activities, including: painting and crafts, dancing and singing, creative play, water, sand, play dough and other messy play and trips to the local parks.
We love working with each child and their parents to help guide them towards becoming balanced and caring individuals.
We provide quality, fun childminding in a safe, warm and loving setting. If you would like more details or to arrange a visit then we would love to hear from you.
My Experience
Parent to two amazing children. I have been minding since June 2020. Previously I worked in a Bilingual nursery.
Working with children has become am exciting adventure and we love learning and guiding everyday.
We both have an up to date enhanced DBS check with Full Paediatric First Aid Certificates and I am registered with Ofsted. We are also registered with the Information Commissioners office and have up to date Safeguarding courses completed. We are also a member of Pacey and Insured through them.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.50 per hour
From £85 per day which includes breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Fruits, snacks and fresh cows milk. Nappies, wipes, nappy cream and sun cream.

My daughter attended Yumei’s from 7 to 16 months and in that time she created a real bond with Yumei. She’s benefitted immensely from the loving family environment Yumei and Royden provide, having adapted very quickly and developing speedily in her speech and interpersonal skills. Yumei makes sure the children spend time outdoors daily and has been very accommodating in regards to diet requirements. I would highly recommend Yumei and Royden to any parent looking for care for their little ones, as I have always had peace of mind knowing my daughter was in excellent, responsible and professional hands.

Our daughter is 18 months old and started going to Yumei and Royden last June. She is very well looked after and is thriving under their care. Every day is filled with fun activities, including lots of outdoor play, whatever the weather. The food that they provide is all home cooked and nutritious, and they cater for our daughter's dietary requirements without any problem. They provide a nurturing and stimulating environment, and are very approachable and friendly. It's impossible not to warm to them quickly when you meet them. I would highly recommend their childminding service.

My son has started to go to Yumei and Royden's setting when he was 1 year old. He has enjoyed the setting quite a lot in the following months. Due to the interaction with other kids and all the activities led by Yumei and Royden, my son has expanded his vocabulary and further improved his motory skills. He can count and say many words since he started the setting.
Yumei and Royden are really lovely people and they have a good insight and knowledge on how to help small kids thrive.
Food is all home-cooked and my son has always liked it. The update software is quite practical and gets updated after each day so it is also easy to catch up on what happened in the day.
I highly recommend Yumei and Royden's setting.

Our 2 year old son couldn't have been happier with Yumei and Royden. He spent a very happy 18 months in their setting and would still be with them, were we not moving out of the area. He started there during lockdown and was welcomed by the whole family, treated like one of their own.
Yumei and Royden are really accommodating and flexible, ensuring the children enjoy time outdoors everyday. Communication is easy with them and they have a pragmatic and professional approach. They share information and photos from their day regularly, so it's easy to know what the children have done each day. Yumei and Royden happily supported our parenting style and naturally encourage our son to be polite and empathetic with others.
We feel so lucky that we found Yumei and Royden. Our son adored the whole family and we would whole-heartedly recommend their setting.

Yumei and Royden are absolutely fantastic. My daughter has been with them for almost two years now. She started when she was ten months old and we were a but worried about her settling in. However, she settled in very quickly and loves going to Yumei‘s setting. The whole family is friendly and caring and it feels like my daughter is part of their family. We are so glad to have found them.
Yumei and Royden provide a loving home away from home atmosphere at their house and go the extra mile to help. Outdoor play is as important to them as it is to us. They are also very flexible to accommodate any changes.
I can‘t recommend Yumei and Royden highly enough.
