My Experience
In my time as a nanny and babysitter,I have looked after 4 babies (different families), 3 girls aged 1, and a 2-year-old boy. My duties were to take them to different locations and events such as the playground alone and also on playdates, to change their nappies, make them lunch and a variety of other different tasks to keep them entertained and safe.
I have also looked after two older boys ages 6 and 8 of which I took to and from school. My duties were similar but also included homework and other such school activities. The role has taught me lots about time management and has increased myself awareness and awareness of surroundings and efficiency to ensure all tasks were completed.
