My Summary
About Me
Hello everyone!
I would describe myself as gentle, considerate, trustworthy and outdoorsy person, everyday I transfer these skills into my nanny services. It’s very important to me that parents and family members, feel at ease in my presence and I do my best to support everyone.
I have completed my BA hons Degree in Early Childhood Studies and am looking bring these new skills into nannying.
I love spending time outdoors and immersing the children in my care into the fun, learning experiences and freedom that forest and outside play can provide.
I recently went to Sweden to spend 5 days visiting the original forest schools, I feel I have learnt a great amount in my time there and am excited to bring back my knowledge and experience into my nanny day to day activities.
I am a good cook, if I do say so myself! so I am able to prepare and cook healthy homemade meals and snacks for the children. I have worked roles where I have prepared dinner for the whole family also, I am able to do this if needed to help with the daily workload.
Other details about my services are that I’m self employed and my car has business insurance to transport children in my care with ISO fix in the back. I have car seats for children but may need to borrow for infants and babies.
I’m also very comfortable with all animals as I have a few pets myself.
Please feel free to drop me a message at any time and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
My Experience
I’ve worked in the child care sector for 8 years. Working with children aged newborn up to 12yrs of age.
I’ve worked in a pre school, schools, a private nursery, a after school club and in nannying.
My first nannying role started as a ‘mothers help role’ for 5 years, after this I have worked with multiple families in afterschool, summer holiday and evening/overnight work.
I am very flexible and happy to help with any roles or support needed.
Have experience working with multiple children at one time.
I also have experience working with children with allergies, so understand the vigilance and preparation this requires.
I haven’t had any SEN training although I do have experience working with ASD, multiple learning difficulties and Down syndrome.
So In all I have experience working with new borns, infants and children, with a varied mixture of needs and abilities.

My Availability
It’s very varied, it’s mainly dependant on mine the parents needs. I find a nannying day doesn’t have a set end time, children have a mixture of emotional and physical needs. Ensuring that the children's well-being is supported and nurtured is of paramount importance to me. If that involves staying later or working a weekend I’m available.

Kirstie has been absolutely great with my 11 month old daughter. We had a tough start given it was just after lockdown, but Kirstie managed to put my daughter at ease and stop the separation anxiety and now she can’t wait for Kirstie to come.
Kirstie is helpful, professional and really focuses on the child she is looking after, endless playing and singing!
She helps stick to routines and is also great at getting out and about locally and further afield for walks and outings.
Helpful around the house too. I’d recommend Kirstie to anyone!
