About Me
My name is Vicky, I am an Ofsted registered childminder, offering specifically breakfast & after school care for children attending St Johns CofE (both sites) & St Luke’s Primary. I live on Daisybank Ave, so we are able to walk to & from school everyday. Working with up to 3 assistants who are all known to Ofsted, each with an enhanced DBS check. Providing a home from home approach, sitting each evening at the table, to a warm home cooked meal, helping instil good eating habits whilst also teaching the children some of the basic skills of life (setting the table, tidying away, using a knife & fork, recycling where we can). A safe, happy environment, where i will be working to Ofsted requirements. I have a great relationship with the school & teachers, which enables me to work closely with the school & parents to help each child develop to their full potential, all to help further children's learning & development whilst in my care. Striving to incorporate the learning from school within my setting, for example encouraging children to complete their reading & homework tasks. I work closely with each parent to identify the specific needs of each child. Although the children will be able to relax after a busy day at school, there are also a range of activities to keep them engaged. I have ample outdoor space for the children to be active and play. Offering various outdoor activities. Whilst indoor we have plenty of books, jigsaws, a playstation with various games, crafts, board games, dressing up, home corner, school role play, lots of crafts, lego & small world toys.
My Experience
Mummy to 3 girls, 15, 13 and 10 years. Prior to childminding I worked with my husband as we have our own building company, and my previous role was an account manager for one of the market leading health care providers. This aside I personally have massive respect for the impact the early years have on a child's development. I cement this into my language, my attitude and my behavior . Always aware of the little eyes and ears listening and watching, looking at us adults to show them how to behave and help show them right from wrong.
My Qualifications
Level 3 award in pediatric first aid. Level 2 award in food safety. I have successfully completed child protection training and continue to do so on a regular basis. I have completed preparation for Ofsted registration training with Salford City Council. I have completed training for consistent approaches to behaviour management.

Breakfast from 7.30AM to 9.10AM
After school 3PM to 5.45PM

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.40 per hour
£7 per morning session (inc healthy breakfast)
£14.50 per afternoon session (inc after school snack, and hot home cooked meal & Dessert)
