About Me

Hello! Thank you for checking out my profile. I am a 27 year old nanny with 4 years professional experience within family homes.

I am hard working, caring and responsible. I currently look after two children, and absolutely adore my job. I unfortunately need to seek another role as the children I nanny for now no longer need my care. I am looking for live out Monday-Thursday. I can provide CV and reference from my lovely current employers.
I am due to redo my paediatric health certificate, which I would complete before starting any new role.

I look forward to hearing from you!

My Experience

August 2021- Present
Living and working within a family household. Caring for two children aged between 5-10. Family PA jobs.

Main responsibilities and duties:
• Sole care of two children aged between 6-10.
• Implementing a smooth running school, homework and social schedule for children.
• Carrying out ad hoc tasks for family based around their household and personal needs.
• Task management; structure the needs and work of the family into tasks, prioritise and follow through to completion.
• Critical thinking to make efficient decisions.
• Managing the diaries of myself and a family of four.
• Carrying out multiple tasks simultaneously whilst ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children.
• Arranging clubs, play dates and social days out to stimulate the development of the children.
• Advanced DBS Certificate.
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate.

March 2012- September 2015: Nanny/Babysitter.
Various Family Friends
Leigh-on-Sea, Essex

I worked for two families; one over the space of a year and another over the space of two years. Looked after the children in the evenings when the parents had other commitments to attend, so this was not a weekly role but more of an occasional role, a couple-few times a month. The children varied from age 6-10 years old.

Main duties and responsibilities:
• Implemented the bed time routine
• Made food for the children if this hadn’t been done before I arrived
• Helped with homework
• Tidied/cleaned up after the children
• Safeguarded the children whilst the parents were away
• Played games or entertained the children. Read them books when it was bed time
• Efficiently and compassionately dealt with any issues such as children upset when going to bed etc
• Communicated with parents any progress or issues that occurred during my time with them

From the age of 15, I would regularly take sole charge of my brother, aged 7+. This would be on a weekly basis, and would involve:

* Picking him up from his school, and walking him home safely
* Making him dinner
* Organising his school belongings from the day and for the next day (uniform, projects, PE kits etc)
* Keeping him entertained and safe
* Once a week this would be late into the evening
* Ensure he does his homework, and helping him with this

My only experience with babies is with family (cousins). I spent a few weeks in Amsterdam visiting my Auntie who had a baby (aged roughly 8 months). I spent almost all my time with the mother and baby. Most of my experience with baby Orelia was with the mother present but when in their home, I spent most of the time alone with Orelia, mostly just playing with her and keeping her safe whilst her mother got on with household/personal chores.

This all involved;
* Taking Orelia out for the day with the mother
* Helping with morning and night routine
* Solely entertaining and safeguarding Orelia during the day at the household
* Preparing food for and feeding Orelia
* Keeping her belongings and area tidy
* Taking part in educational/sensory play
* Dressing her in the morning

My Qualifications

I have an Advanced DBS Certificate and full Ofsted recognised Paediatric First Aid Certificate. I am happy to complete any further training required.

My Availability

Depending on pay, I am looking for a minimum of 20/25 hours per week, but I’m happy to discuss your individual needs. I am available Monday-Thursday as well as Sundays if needed.
