Hello! My name is Lauren and I’m 24 years old living in Hove. I’m originally from Lincolnshire, I enjoy creative activities, sport , music and reading as well as socialising with friends and spending time with family which is very important to me as I’m very family oriented.
My Experience
I’m currently working as a Level 3 qualified nursery educator at a nursery in Brighton as the Room Leader of the Baby Room. I first started working in childcare when I was 18, and before hand studied to lead up to this job by doing child development at GCSE and health and social care, in between my nursery jobs I worked for a year and a half in a home for adults with learning disabilities where I gained a variety of training and experience with both learning disabilities and physical disabilities as well as epilepsy. I also have strong experience in learning disabilities and special educational needs in children as my younger brother who is 14 has autism so I have grown up gaining this experience. I have experience of all ages. I am also currently doing my degree in Early Childhood studies.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Cache Early Years childcare diploma, Health and Social Care Level 2, Child development GCSE (B), First Aid trained, DBS Checked, Care Certificate, training in epilepsy awareness, infection control, autism, food safety level 2, positive behavioural support.
My Availability
I work between the hours of 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, therefore am available between these hours
