My Experience

I am patient and hard-working with 4+ years experience and highly adaptable and able to stay calm in all situations. Having nannied for a wide range of ages, 2 months - 16 years old, and also working as a group leader at school holiday camps with children aged 3-12 years old, I have a strong understanding of social, emotional and developmental needs of children. Along the way, I have learnt effective ways to handle tantrums/challenging behaviours and can say I markedly decreased them.

I do have experience working with more than one child in a setting, where I have worked extensively planning and preparing healthy meals, planning activities, and providing transportation.

My Qualifications

Whilst I do not hold a qualification in childcare, working with children was always something I intended on doing, which was what drew me to nanny. Nannying to me is more than just a job. Being able to shape young minds and give them the best care they deserve for a successful future, is what motivates me most. Teaching children about daily life and how to navigate it emotionally/socially/intellectually is incredibly rewarding to me - to be able to give them an emotional safe space and to see the wonderment on their face is something truly amazing.
