My Summary

My Experience

Over the last 6 years, I have worked in various childcare settings, as well as nannying privately. I have been a qualified Early Years Practitioner for 4 years and worked across two crèches and a private nursery.

Over the last 2 years I have been working abroad seasonally. In the winter, I have worked as a private resort nanny in the French Alps. in the summer, I have worked at a female residential summer camp in Maine.

I am now back in Edinburgh after a busy couple of years, looking for some ad-hoc babysitting, in addition to my job at nursery.

My Qualifications

In June 2020 I completed my childcare qualification - SVQ Level 3 in Social Services with Children and Young People (SCQF 7) - with Azillo Training, after studying to gain it for a year, on top of my university work. This involved practice based learning to gain outcomes on modules such as child protection, child development, health and safety, communication and personal care plans.

I am trained in Paediatric and Baby First Aid (2022) and Safeguarding level 1 (2022).

I also gained a 2:1 degree - BA Honours in Criminology and Sociology at the University of Stirling in June 2022.

Evenings or weekends.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

Between £10-12 depending on number of children and whether they’re sleeping or not!
