About Me

Hi I'm Hayley,

I am here mainly seeking weekend/evening/overnight babysitting work, however may be interested in one or two part time or flexible nanny/childcare position if the right ones were to arise.

I have previously worked as a Early Years Educator with the under twos, I have also recently worked as relief staff across different nursery age groups, mainly supporting baby playtime and nap time.

I possess a Psychology Degree, and a strong interest in child mental health, wellbeing and development.

I have babysat for many years and have worked with children full time for 3 years, until the pandemic where I took on some adult care and administrative work. I have recently been doing nursery relief work but would like some more 1;1 and flexible childcaring positions.

I love helping to shape and mould children. I believe that I am strong in supporting children's communication and encouraging them to develop new skills, through lots of focused attention. I am great with special interests and developing activities based on this.

I am available to nanny for children in their own home, taking them on outings and adventures regularly. This would be on public transport as I do not drive.

Please be aware that I would be looking for full days. So looking for a part time split between two families if possible.

I enjoy singing nursery rhymes and reading to children, but also more active, creative or messy activities.

I would describe myself as calm, friendly, creative, proactive and easy going. I believe in clear boundaries, but also believe whole heartedly in fun, exploration and self expression, being the key to happy children.

I enjoy getting fully involved with all activities and have no issues being silly, or getting messy in the process.

I am confident with bedtime routines, am happy to cook evening meals and look after several children at once.

I am used to dealing with children with allergies, so am happy to manage dietary requirements.

I have had some exposure to SEN children, such as speech delays, hearing impairments and autism, so would be confident with further training and guidance to be able to effectively support additional needs.

Please be aware although I’m looking for babysitting for some evening and weekends, I am open to other options of providing childcare during daytime on weekdays if the right position arises.

Please be aware if hiring me that I am unvaccinated, but am happy to test for parental peace of mind.

I say this upfront for transparency and honesty in starting our working relationship.

I charge £110 a day for local nanny work. There may possibly be additional charge for further travel, larger groups of children, additional support, days/meals out etc.

I am able am able to babysit and happy to travel to North Hertfordshire, East Hertfordshire, Enfield and Surrounding areas. Happy to do this in London also and possibly Cambridge.
