My Experience

I have 4 years of experience as a nanny/housekeeper with ages 6-13. These 4 years involved 3 different families.

I currently work as a family assistant. Due to privacy, I cannot disclose any personal details regarding the role on this advert.

Prior to this, I worked with a family for 2 years as a full time nanny/housekeeper. I found this lovely family on childcare.co.uk. The children were ages 7 and 10. I left when they were 9 and 12. I still work with this family ad hoc.

This role included general nannying duties, homeschooling, cooking, batch cooking, laundry, ironing, organising wardrobes/cupboards/rooms, dog walking and dog sitting, sole care, taking kids to sports fixtures, keeping the house in order, and keeping the children engaged with activities and games.

I also had a live-in Au Pair job in New Zealand for 6 months with a family who had a lovely 4-year-old girl who I helped with writing, the alphabet, maths, swimming, and lots of other sports. I helped with the morning nursery routine, cooking meals, cleaning, ironing, after school activities and adventures to the beach every weekend.

I also used to coach 7-11 year-olds sports for 2 years from 2017-2018 which then allowed me to attain my level 3 sports coaching award. I now currently coach under 10s and 14s hockey at Erskine Stewart Melive part-time as well. I have done this since August 2022.

In gaps between nannying, I worked in property. Therefore any estate/home management roles are suitable as well. I worked with the MOD (Ministry of Defence) , social housing and private housing contracts. I then worked in high end property let’s and sales with a local Edinburgh company managing a portfolio of 100 properties. Since then I have opened up my own property company (New Town Nests), which I run alongside my currently role.

I am highly organised, efficient, and great at managing and helping with family life. I use initiative, have a great sense of humour, and make family life a lot easier. All my work is completed to a high standard and easily fit into family lives with minimal disruption.

My Fees

• Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)

I charge £15 per hour.
