I am studying psychology with counselling at The Open University to provide counselling and support for children in schools. I am looking to provide full-time childcare while working around the family I currently work with. Please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask about my availability!
I currently work with a family of 2 little boys during the week, whilst also working during school holidays and providing babysitting during the evenings and sole charge overnight stays occasionally.
My Experience
I have a year and a half of experience as a nanny for a family of three children, ranging from 5 to 10 years of age. My main roles included the school pick-up, preparing meals, aiding with homework, keeping the house tidy, caring for the family dog, ensuring the children had completed chores, and occasional weekend/half term days out.
I have been working with a family of 2 children, aged 2 years old and 8 months old when I started, since the start of last year. I care for the children at their home, provide meals and bottles, and engage in fun activities and games whilst also taking them out for mornings or afternoons to fun classes and days out. I primarily have sole charge of the children when I am with them, and am more than comfortable to have them for prolonged periods of time.
I have experience of caring for younger children throughout the day and overnight stays. Additionally, I offer babysitting services. I have also provided babysitting services to a family with a special educational needs child.
My Qualifications
I have nine GCSE's including Maths and English and 2 A levels in business and personal finance. Additionally, I have a DBS and am First Aid trained and Paediatric First Aid trained.
I am also currently studying for a psychology degree at The Open University.
My Availability
I am looking into providing childcare full-time, making my availability 3-4 days a week.
I would also like to let you know that weekend availability can also be accommodated if needed.
