Hi there! My name is Erin and I live in the West End of Glasgow.
I'm 23 years old and currently completing my degree in Spanish and Social & Public Policy at the University of Glasgow, with graduation coming up in June.
I'm a responsible, caring, and bubbly individual with experience caring for children of various ages, from toddlers to school-aged. I’ve worked in both informal settings (babysitting and family care) and more structured roles, supporting children’s development through play, routines, and learning activities. I’m confident managing multiple children at once, and I handle bedtime routines, and outdoor play with care and confidence.
I love spending time outdoors, being creative, and getting involved in activities. I’m also happy to help with light housework and support with schoolwork where needed.
My Experience
After leaving high school, I spent eight months volunteering as an English teacher in Honduras. I lived with a host family and spent most afternoons entertaining and caring for their three year old son while his Mum was at work. Despite the language barrier, we quickly built a strong bond, and I learned how to engage and connect through play, patience, and consistency.
As a teacher, I also managed classrooms of up to 37 young children, which helped me develop valuable skills such as patience, quick thinking, and effective communication. I thoroughly enjoyed planning and delivering activities that catered to different ages while keeping the children engaged and the classroom well-managed.
I also spent a year volunteering with Support, Help and Integration Perthshire, where I supported young people with severe learning difficulties. This role required trust, emotional sensitivity, and the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
In addition, I’ve provided babysitting for family friends over the years — something I genuinely enjoy. These experiences have helped me become a confident and dependable caregiver, both in formal and informal settings.

I do not have any childcare qualifications. I will receive my undergraduate degree in Spanish and Social & Public Policy in June
