Hi my name is Jamie and I am 23 years old. I live in a small village near manningtree but am happy to travel out further.
I am enthusiastic about creating a warm environment and planning/engaging in exciting and stimulating activities with the children I care for. I am a friendly , hardworking and creative childcare professional looking for a nannying position.
I love singing and dancing, craft activities , baking and being outside.
My Experience
started working with children when I was 16 and it quickly become my passion! I have 5 years experience working with children in a nursery setting. For 2 years I have been a room manager generally based in the baby room(under 2)
This job role has been such a rewarding experience. I have gained so much knowledge on supporting children in all areas of development. I have built secure attachments with so many amazing children and supported them for years until they left for school. I pride myself on my communication and relationships I build with the parents. I have supported children and families through so many changes such as potty training, new siblings and SEN diagnosis's.
I absolutely love being outside in the garden with the children and would love to become forest school trained. I regularly plan trips and walks out to enjoy the local area.
My Qualifications
level 3 early years qualification
Currently finishing my last year of my BA early years and youth studies.
Paediatric first aid trained (2022)
Safeguarding level 2 (2022)
Food hygiene certificate

Jamie has been our Nanny on a Monday regularly for the past 6 months. She has been absolutely amazing! My kids adore her. She is reliable, fun and educational. She is so kind & caring too. She gives my kids their dinner, baths them & puts them to bed. I could not recommend Jamie enough.
