Before/after school and holiday care available.
I offer 1140 hours funded childcare for 2-5 years of age in connection with East Ayrshire Council.
Hi my name is Sharon McRoberts and I run Little Gigglers Childcare. I am a fully registered professional Community Childminder (SCSWIS). . I live in the village of Crookedholm, near Hurlford, 7 mins from Kilmarnock Collage, 1 mile from Kilmarnock and 5 mins from M77 .
I am a member of The Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA) and have public liability insurance in place. I offer a fully comprehensive childminding service. My daughter is registered as my assistant to help care for the children with myself.
In my care my aim is for children to be happy, safe and growing in mind, body and self esteem.
My home is light and spacious with many exciting activities for children.
We have a fully enclosed garden and decking area. A newly handmade mud kitchen with water and sand play.
Crookedholm park is on our Road.
Variety of activities including role play, crafts, music and cooking/baking.
Hot and homemade food daily.
The children have full access to a large range of age related toys with space for quiet times.
A laptop is available should you need one for homework (fully supervised).
We visit local toddlers, library and play areas on a weekly basis so the children are mixing with other children of similar ages.
We like everyone to feel at home here and if you choose to join us I am sure you will be very happy.
My Experience
As a mother I have gained 26 years hands on experience with my own children as well as being an Auntie and Nana.
I love being at home with the children and find it a very rewarding job.
I worked as a volunteer with Home Start for 3 years.
I was a busy babysitter in my younger years before having my own children including being a chaperon for the children in the pantomime at the Palace Theatre.

My Qualifications
I am currently studying Early Years Childcare HNC.
I have completed training with East Ayrshire Council for Community Childminding and blended care, including health and safety, child protection, behavior management, Infection control and the business side of childminding.
My premises have been thoroughly checked and surpass the requirements of The Care Inspectorate, of whom I am registered.
I am a member of The Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA) with public liability insurance in place.
I have a full driving license.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Please contact me to discuss requirements.
Fees include food where applicable as well as healthy snacks.
Fees include all outings I take the children on including local playgroups and soft play areas.
Other outings will be arranged prior to going and I ask for a small fee towards these outings.( i,e Farm Park)
