Hello, I’m Millie! I am 24 years old and I have been an afterschool nanny since 2022. I take a nurturing and child-led approach to the care of children but also ensure that there are clear boundaries. I am available before 3pm (school pick up) everyday from the beginning of May. Happy to do housework. I am an animal lover so more than happy to be around pets. I have been DBS checked and have basic first aid training. Please note, unfortunately I am not able to drive and I am moving to York in September so can unfortunately only provide temporary care.
My Experience
I am currently an after school nanny for two children ages 8 and 10. I have been working as a 1:1 learning support assistant to an Autistic child. I have also volunteered in a weekly playgroup primarily for preschool children. As a teen, I was a regular volunteer for Chickenshed, an inclusive theatre company, in the children’s theatre sessions for ages 5 to 11.
My Qualifications
I have basic first aid training and safeguarding training.
My Availability
From the beginning of May I am available before 3pm Monday to Friday.
