Hello! My name is Cindy. I’m 28 years old, originally from France, and I’ve been living in London since 2017, currently based in the Battersea area.
I’m a caring, enthusiastic, and open-minded person with a strong sense of responsibility. I have pre-settled status and a lifelong passion for working with children. I began babysitting as a teenager and have since gained years of experience as an after-school nanny, private tutor, au pair, and full-time nanny. My Experience
I have worked with children of all ages, from as young as 6 months to 14 years old. Over the years, I’ve held various roles including au pair, nanny, private tutor, and most recently, English-speaking facilitator in a bilingual nursery in France.
I’ve supported French-speaking children in learning English, helped with homework, and provided care both in France and the UK, giving me a well-rounded understanding of different childcare environments. Altogether, I have over 7 years of hands-on childcare experience.
My responsibilities have included:
• Preparing children for school and ensuring they’re ready for the day
• Cooking healthy breakfasts and balanced meals
• School drop-offs and pick-ups
• Organising playdates and extracurricular activities
• Maintaining children’s hygiene routines
• Providing full-time care while parents travel
• Supporting homeschooling during the pandemic
• Managing light domestic cleaning
• Running errands (e.g. grocery shopping, picking up parcels)
I hold a valid First Aid certificate and an enhanced DBS check, and I’m happy to provide references from both the UK and France.
I’m fluent in French (native) and English, and I also speak intermediate Spanish. I’m currently studying Arabic and Italian, as I have a strong passion for languages and cultural exchange.
