Hello, my name is Belén and I am 31 years old. I have been living in London since September 2018. I work as a nanny because I love children. I have been working with children since I was 16 years old. Although I studied a degree in science and health (Human Nutrition and Dietetics), my education, internships and work experience have always been related to children.
I am a responsible, hardworking, organized, active and dynamic person. Therefore, I work well with both small and large groups of children.
My Experience
I have been working with children for 15 years (looking after kids and tutoring). I have worked as a nanny for families, as a lunch lady in a school, as a babysitter and as a tutor in homes and academies. Additionally, I completed my degree internships in Human Nutrition and Dietetics in schools and hospitals (neonatal units).
My activities as nanny include: preparing children for nursery or school, making breakfast, taking them to nursery or school and picking them up, cooking lunch and dinner, playing with them, organizing educational activities, taking them to the park and cultural activities, bathing them and putting them to sleep. I can also do household tasks such as laundry and ironing, as well as cleaning up any messes made while I am looking after the children.
I have experience with newborns, babies and twins. As a dietitian-nutritionist, I am knowledgeable about infant nutrition, the weaning process and how to introduce them solids (purees, BLW and the transition from purees to solid foods). I also have experience with potty training.
My Qualifications
I have First AID, Enhanced DBS check and references.
