About Me
AVAILABILITY NOW!
I’m a dedicated and creative caregiver with a love for working with children of all ages. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to care for newborns, support children with special needs, and help busy families with multiple kids. My experience includes everything from soothing babies to engaging older children in fun, educational activities.
From March 2023 to August 2024, I worked as a part-time nanny for a newborn, helping the mother with daily care routines, and creating a calm and loving environment. Prior to that, I spent a year (March 2022 – March 2023) working with an 8-year-old boy with autism, focusing on improving his communication and supporting his emotional development.
I’ve also cared for five children aged 4-14 (March 2018 – March 2021), where I balanced homework help, activities, and routine tasks to keep the family running smoothly. On top of that, I volunteered as a teaching assistant for children with autism and ADHD, helping teachers develop personalized learning plans.
I love art, creativity, and spending time outdoors, and I’m a published children’s book illustrator, which I often bring into my caregiving to make every day fun and enriching!

Having had lots of experience with children, Sophie is playful and easygoing.
She was punctual and kept the children engaged from beginning to end.
She was emotionally intelligent and talked with my child about the changes he would face when starting school.
She was easy-going, open and honest.
She was flexible and helpful, offering to help with some housekeeping tasks when my children were occupied.

She was open, honest and friendly.

Sophie came into our home and immediately connected with both our boys. She was engaged in their activities and managed to happily get them off of their devices! Well done Sophie! She went the extra mile and when we arrived home she had gotten them into bed and was reading to them. Very happy with the care that Sophie provided our family.
Sophie left us down via a text sent 5 minutes before the scheduled start. Allegedly a covid test she was waiting for turned out to be positive. She never mentioned any chance of covid when she agreed to care for our two toddlers. Utterly unreliable. Would absolutely not recommend

Response by Rose on 03/07/2022:
I am genuinely very sorry, I had covid and didn’t want to contaminate you’re family and wanted to be honest. I feel upset that something out of my control has made you have such a negative view of me. This is the first time I have had a bad review.
