Kat looked after my two children, a 3 year old and 1 year old for 7 months and did an excellent job. I was particularly impressed with Kat bringing them to a playgroup every week at the Baptist church which they thoroughly enjoyed. They would come back to me weekly with beautiful artwork they had done during their time there. I always found her thoughtful for example at Christmas time she sent lovely gifts and did the same at Easter. I also appreciated the updates on the Family app where she also posted pictures of my children's time at playgroup and also general updates throughout the day. My two children loved playing with Kat's two children and whenever I would come to pick them up, my daughter in particular would not want to leave. Kat clearly loves her job as a childminder and adores children. I know my two kids will miss her very much!

Kat looks after my little boy during the school breaks, because although my mum loves having my little boy during term time she also needs a break. When I was looking for a childminder I wanted one that had children around my little boys age. Kat has 2 little girls and from the minute they first met him that welcomed him in and started playing with the toys. I decided from then, to have Kat as my childminder that was 7 months ago and I have never looked back. She is an amazing childminder, my son comes home full of stories of what they have done that day. He gets so excited whenever he goes to Kat’s because everyday is different. Kat has home days where the children play with educational toys and do educational activities, she also has foodie days as I call them, where my little boy gets to make cakes. And she has outdoor days where they goes for nice walks or soft play centres, Kat gives my little boy breakfast lunch and a home cooked dinner, because I don’t pick him up until 6pm, he loves Kat’s dinners and keeps saying he wishes my dinners were as yummy as Kat’s. Kat is also a great listener and communicator, if I have any concerns she listens to them and vice a versa if she has any concerns I listen to them. I trust Kat’s ability to take care of my son no matter what as I know with Kat my son is in safe hands. And my son loves being around her and her family.

Kat is a lovely knowledgable childminded who really cares about the children, she had my little girl for a couple days a week and did lots of fun things together and I could tell she loved her time with Kat!
Just by talking to her you can tell she is passionate and caring and knows what’s she’s doing !

After years of fertility problems I was finally blessed with 2 beautiful children, being an older parent I was very protective and never imagined or wanted to allow a childminder look after my precious babies, however, financially I had to go back to work part time.. reluctantly I researched childminders and had heard amazing reviews about KAT.. I nervously went to visit her and as soon as she opened her front door I was welcomed by a beautiful warm smile and her 2 lovely children excitedly welcoming us in.. from that moment I relaxed. Kat showed us around her clean and homely home, all safety measures in place, with arts and crafts and baking, educational play, Kat takes them for a daily walk, cooks home cooked food, nutritious and tasty! My kids come home happy, tired, and full of great stories from the adventures they had that day! Kat is warm, kind, hardworking, amazing childminder who clearly adores her job!

I have used Katherine in the past with my son until we moved areas. My son had been with her for 5 months and never had any issues with the way my son was looked after. Her people skills are fantastic and I can't fault her in any way. My son had issues with food and she managed to coax him into trying new things, most he still likes.

Completely unprofessional, rude and arrogant. Does not know how to communicate. Does not know how to look after her own children let alone someone else's as they always running around causing havoc so can't even have a normal conversation with her.
She lacks any form of knowledge on how to take care of a child, she doesn't allow them to grow or learn as won't support children through potty training and makes them do it all in their nappy.
She either needs retraining or to be completely unable to look after someone else's child as she is clearly inept. STAY CLEAR

Firstly can you please message me privately as to who your child is - as I’m afraid I don’t recognise your name under the contacts of my minded children.
This review is probably linked to the comment previously from a very disgruntled parent who reported false and negative comments against me. This comment from yourself is suspicious and probably linked with the below parent. I can assure you that I am a fully qualified childminder and I am 100% fit and Ofsted approved to look after children in my setting. The previous review was in response to the parent not taking lightly that their child had bitten my child severely. It is my job to raise all accidents and injuries and report them - unfortunately the parent didn’t take lightly to this.
These comments and reviews will not be accepted as they are false and are now harassment against me. I am now taking these comments, reviews and consistent messages to the police - as my business is being sabotaged!!
I FEEL OBLIGED TO WARN OTHER CHILDMINDERS OF THE SITUATION AROUND THESE COMMENTS AS I FEEL IT WILL LIKELY HAPPEN TO YOU AND I WOULDNT WANT YOU TO GO THROUGH THE SAME HARRASSMENT I HAVE!!
Unprofessional and rude. Threatened me with the police because I questioned how my child was being looked after. Katherine lacks knowledge and empathy. She allows her children to run amok and puts them before the children who are paying for a space in her setting. When I served notice of leaving she made my life hell and I was forced to take my child out sooner. She initially refused to give me my deposit and food money back, it took a while month for her to give it back. She is still refusing to give me back my money for the day she sent my child home because she wanted to take her children (not customers) somewhere I didn't feel safe for my child.

As always there are two sides to every story so I would just like to say that any issues arisen where never brought to my attention. Your little girl has thoroughly enjoyed her time here in my setting. I have gone over and above with what I have provided to her. I have given her experiences outside and inside the setting. We have shared some wonderful memories together and I have watched your daughter grow in the last 9 months very confidently and wonderfully through the activities I have provided to her. I have always been kind, helpful and professional towards you and your child. I have given the complete consistent care I have always provided and I have always been available for direct communication to discuss anything with you. I am 100% fit and qualified in all aspects of childcare and have been approved by Ofsted to have children in my setting. I cannot accept false accusations against me.
