Hello there, my name is Emma Devitt, i'm 27 years old and I have very recently come back from a backpacking trip from South East Asia.
I am reloacting to Bristol and am trying to figure out my next steps which would mean childminding would work very well for me as I am very flexiable with when I can be avaliable for your families needs.
I am a cheerful, engaging and kind person and I believe could bring something really positive to the lives of your children!
My Experience
Prior to my travels, I was working in a beautiful nursery called Blueberry nursery in Brighton. The nursery had such a lovely ethos and that really was let the children be free in who they want to be and encourange anything positive as much as possible. I enjoyed engaging with both the parents and the children I met along the way and formed some really speical bonds. My main career however, was running the community pub as the general manager but I decided to take on bank staff work at Blueberry because I had watched so many of them grow over the years at the pub, I felt like I could try out working alongside them.
The pub is called The Chimney House and is a family friendly space in which we used to run evnets for the children of the community and so I was also in charge of these events.
I have a full DBS completed last year via Blueberry Nursery.
My Qualifications
I have a bachelor's degree in Media Studies completed in Brighton in 2019.
I have done food safety and allergen awareness training.
My Availability
I am very flexible in my avaliability.
