At Camp Cooper, I oversaw the senior cabins and acted as the line manager for all the staff assigned to take care of all their pastoral overnight stay needs. In addition to this, I managed multiple electives and the activities that were involved, designing curriculums and running ‘all camps’.

My role as Activity and Events Leader involves me planning and delivering birthday parties, fairs and touring shows as well as acting in them. This additionally provides me the opportunity to devise and direct events.

Whilst studying for my PGCE, I gained additional hours as a technician in multiple departments. This mainly saw the upkeep of studios and equipment as well as delivering tutorials on how to use them. I also provided tutor coverage for Music, Media, Photography and Film.

My time at Tynemouth Park saw me plan, cast and oversee multiple events a year. The main responsibilities including customer service, budget handling, managing staff and acting in the events myself when required.

Lapland Representative
As a Santa’s Aurora Programme Representative I handled multi-faceted roles. This included the management and selling of excursions, welcome meetings and information as well as running activities, games and songs on coaches, at the hotel and at the activity centre. As the face of the company for guests, I would ensure that their expectations for their holiday was continually exceeded.

Electric Robin for CBBC Sept 2023 - Feb 2024 Freelance
Forward Planning Researcher
Working closely with the casting and production teams my role encompasses everything resulting in the show making it to studio. This covers auditions, background checks, buying and designing prizes and props and aiding in the running of the grand finales. Planning the games and organising the shoot days to comply with child protection and entertainment laws.

Art director
Young Filmmakers Academy Aug 2021 Seasonal
With the academy, my role as social staff meant pastoral care of the attendees. In addition, I was a house leader, meaning I was the point of call for any issues they may be having outside of classes. My other role of art director included managing and running the props/costume/makeup department. Coordinating the films our students made in terms of the visuals involved.

Recruiter
United Education Feb 2022 - June 2022 Seasonal
As a Recruiter for United Education, I organised and held interviews for their Summer Camp staff for multiple sites around the UK. In addition to determining candidate’s suitability to the role in which they were interviewing, I also had to pass commentary and feedback on if they were more suited to different roles or potentially more compatible to other sites to the one they had requested, matching employee profiles to the requirements of over 50 locations.

Drama and Film Tutor
Act2Cam Nov 2023 - March 2024 Freelance
At Act2Cam, I taught multiple classes, age groups and abilities, this covered ages of 5 through to the adult classes. As part of the younger extra curricular classes the groups were developing, writing and filming their own short films which were a year in development. For the adult classes, they were all creating documentaries that acted as their projects for an Arts Award (both silver and bronze), helping them work towards gaining UCAS points or securing apprentice placements, alongside organizing industry events and screenings for them.

Bell English Feb 2024 - May 2024 Seasonal
At Bell English, I aided in designing, developing and leading different workshops. This included activities such as football, dance and painting, fitting into sports, art or performance. In addition, I acted as a secondary to the house parents who looked after over 100 students at once, as an examiner for the teachers delivering their English as a second language classes and the site manager when I needed to cover other staff members at the airport or on excursions into the city.
