My Experience

I have 15 years of experience working with children from birth to 10 years, both as a live-in nanny, and as a daily nanny. My focus as a nanny is on the educational, physical and social development of the children.

My Qualifications

I have more than a decade of experience working with children as a professional nanny, and have studied primary education and childhood development at university. I am able to prepare and carry out developmentally focused lesson plans and units that are age appropriate for the children in my care, and that are focused on their individual needs.

My undergraduate degree was a bachelor's degree majoring in Psychology, for which I graduated in 2012. Within this degree, I completed subjects directly related to child development. Upon beginning my postgraduate degree in Primary Education in November 2015, I ceased full time work in order to focus on my studies. These have consisted of a mixture of both theoretical studies and time spent teaching. I completed all theory subjects before returning to work in 2017.

After having dedicated my attention toward my daughter’s development, I am now looking towards returning to work. My paediatric first aid and CPR are up to date, and I am have an enhanced dbs.
