I’m Michelle. I'm a 59 year old mother of 4 grown children. At one time 3 of those children were under the age of 3 as I had twins when my daughter was only 2 1/2. So, I know a thing or two or three about a hectic household. I am an American who has lived in the UK since 1998 having been married to a British Chap. After my divorce in 2017 I went back to Texas to reconnect with my family there. While there I trained and became a Licensed Emergency Medical Technician (911 Ambulance). Man I absolutely loved that job! But, my children did not enjoy the extreme heat and small Texas town I had grown up in so we came back to live permanently in our beloved England. I have been asked why I don't just go to work for the Ambulance service here. Well, the answer is that my USA credentials do not transfer across the pond and I would have to completely retrain/get licensed in the UK. Although it was the most rewarding job I've ever had, it was also an extremely hard job emotionally and physically. One of the longest shifts I worked ran into 10 straight days. That's 10 - 24 hour shifts.
