About Me
I'm 26 years old, living in York city centre. I enjoy music, art, reading and film. I am a primary school teacher looking for some extra work over the summer holidays. I'm a calm, patient and hardworking individual and am happy to help out in any way that I can.
My Experience
I have been teaching the full primary curriculum for the last 3 years. I currently work as a year 5/6 teacher.
I also undertook volenteer work spent in Morocco at a youth centre for refugees. I cared for chilldren aged 4-16, supporting them with all aspects of care as well as lessons, games, arts activities and meal times.
I have also taught EAL students aged 3- 18 English for two years.
I spent 10 months working at a dementia home as a care assistant. Some of these skills are highly transferable as I gained first aid training and knowledge of specialist care skills such as positive behaviour management and basic medical assistance.
I have also had occasional babysitting work over the last 5 years for chilldren aged 1+ and have experience in meal times, nappy changes, bathing and bedtime routines.

Currently studying to become a full time primary teacher, specialising in ages 3-7.
My Availability
I am currently free on evenings, weekends and Wednesdays, as transport permits as unfortunately I do not drive. I'm also free during school holidays.
