My Summary
About Me
Hi I’m Ashleigh :D. I am a fun, bubbly and energetic 30year old who has a big passion for children and helping them reach all their milestones. I enjoy supporting families in every way I can to make their life easier with their little ones.
I enjoy being out and about and socialising at different groups giving the children the opportunities to meet and socialise with others.
I love dogs and being busy with friends and family too.
My Experience
I’ve worked as a nanny for 4+ years with the experience of working with two families. I understand the communication requirement’s and working with a mixture of ages during different stages of their milestones.
I teach basic social skills and hygiene, provide a safe setting for children, help children to learn through play and enjoy taking the children out on outings to widen their experiences and socialising with others.
I’ve used my nursery experiences to enhance my knowledge going into nannying and widen my skills on a personal level.
I’ve previously worked for two nurseries which involved working collaboratively with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is a framework to help children develop within their targeted milestones and ensure they are supported in every way. I understand the challenges children face on a day to day basis and have developed the skills to provide the best possible care and guidance. Being assigned Key Children enabled me to build close bonds and relationships with the child and their parents; which I will always cherish.

Ashleigh was our family nanny for 18 months to our three children on a Thursday and a Friday. Ashleigh is a fun and committed nanny always putting the children first. She is a capable and safe pair of hands. Ashleigh fits in to busy family life always arriving early or on time, Ashleigh has never once been late for work. our children have loved Ashleigh and we as parents have too. We will miss her and wish her all the best in her next endeavours x
Ashleigh became a key member to our family over the last 5 months. Understanding the pressure both parents working from home caused, with this unusual dynamic of parents and childcarer all being at home at the same time. Our two lively girls (1yrs & 3yrs) took an imediate liking to Ashleigh and she kept them entertained using her previous nursery skills to engage them in learning whilst still having lots of fun! Ashleigh also understood the importance of routein and was very competent in getting the girls to nap in the day. We would recommend her to a family who are looking for full time childcare.
Ashleigh was my daughters key worker in the baby room at her nursery. Ashleigh is warm and friendly and our daughter instantly warmed to her. Ashleigh would always take the time to tell us how our little ones day had been and what they had been up to well above and beyond the standard information nurseries have to provide. She would be sure to tell us funny stories of what she had been up to so we didn’t feel like we were missing out on her everyday! She took it upon herself to learn all of our little ones likes and dislikes and incorporated her favourite things into her day. She really helped with all aspects of our daughters development and had her talking in sentences before 18 months by understanding how to get the best out of her. Ashleigh is a wonderful childcare practitioner, she listens, gives great advice and our daughter loved her and would run over to her with a massive smile every morning.
Ashleigh was my daughter’s main carer at nursery from when she was 0-2 years old. Ashleigh is an amazing carer - my daughter adored her and loved her time at nursery because of her. She was attentive to her needs and helped her develop in every way - playing, speaking, socialising, eating etc. She is caring and friendly and formed a natural bond with my daughter as well as us. She wanted the best for my child and it made me happy knowing that! We highly recommend her.
Ashleigh has looked after my eldest daughter, she is super at what she does, there’s not many people I would be happy to leave my girls with but Ashleigh is certainly one of them. She listens to concerns and queries and deals with them effectively and professionally, she offers advice and my daughter loved going to her. She offers a genuine caring setting and is committed to the development and happiness of your child. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ashleigh as a nanny.
