About Me
I am currently a part time nanny to 4 children under 9 with the youngest being twin three year olds. I have worked with them since the twins were 10 months old. My time with them will be ending at the start of September as they will all be in full time education/nursery.
I also currently own and run a baby and toddler class called Messy Babes which is a messy play and sensory class! I've been doing this for nearly three years. I currently do this two days a week.
My Experience
I have been a private nanny for around two and a half years. Prior to this I worked in a private day nursery for 4 years - nine months of which I was the Room Senior of the Baby Room. As a younger adult I volunteered and later worked at a holiday respite programme for children and young adults with additional needs.
I have also worked in hospitality and retail so have a great ability to work with people.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 NVQ in Childcare which I obtained as an apprentice whilst working in a nursery.
I have a Paediatric First Aid Certificate
I have a range of online courses that I completed to help further my knowledge when working with children with additional needs.
My Availability
Currently I work three days a week (Tuesday/Thursday/Friday) as I run my baby classes the other two days. However I would be open to conversations with regards to days.
I need a family that requires my services during the day and not just as wrap around care.
